Wilco Field Guide

In 2016, I pitched Wilco on an integration with the Huckberry Field Guide series to promote the release of the band’s 10th studio album ‘Wilco, Schmilco.’ The result was an immersive commerce and content campaign centered around a tour of Jeff Tweedy’s favorite spots in Chicago and exclusive Wilco merchandise for the Huckberry audience. The unconventional marketing campaign garnered national media attention and laid the foundation for future artist-driven campaigns at Huckberry.

Portland Field Guide with Danner & Portugal the Man

Building on the success of the Wilco Field Guide, we teamed up with our friends Danner and Portugal. The Man for round two. The Field Guide to Portland was used to market Danner’s new line of Portland Select Boots to the Huckberry audience and promoted on web and social channels by all three partners. The campaign was brought to life with a co-hosted Portugal. The Man concert in Portland. Danner would go on two sponsor two additional Huckberry Field Guides to launch new boot lines - San Francisco with Vetiver and Austin with Jamestown Revival.

Print Catalog Program

In 2016, I helped develop the creative strategy, marketing strategy and production of Huckberry’s first print catalog. Part travel guide, part magazine, and part catalog, the inaugural issue with Jamestown Revival in the San Juan Islands became the first of a signature marketing campaign for Huckberry that would travel to Kauai, HI, Portland, ME, Charleston, SC, Cornwall, UK, Iceland and Puerto Rico.
